Apparently the King of Saudi Arabia requested President Trump to intervene in Yemen and bomb the Houthi rebels to stop their advance.
Trump refused.
He refused because Saudi Arabia is on the menu.
This is a tough pill to swallow for the royals in the Persian Gulf fiefdoms. They thought they were part of the inner circle that would slice and dice the region as the West did a century ago.
They're finding out the hard way that they're not at the table.
