I don't know the veracity of this report about Trump backchanneling with the Houti terrorists. It could be bullshit. But this guy made a deal with the Taliban in a massive prisoner swap, which eventually led to the destruction of morale in the Afghan army and the surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban. So it could very well be true.
My advice to the Saudis and others in the Middle East: choose your protectors wisely! If you're not a Jew you're going to get screwed by Washington. U.S. policy is as simple as that.
