I've been on a Criterion Picks binge on YouTube this weekend, just trying to fall in love with films again by watching filmmakers passionately discuss them.
I can't remember the last movie I watched in one sitting without any interruption. And I miss being in that state of total surrender. The problem I have these days is picking what to watch. So I just choose nothing and read a book instead.
But it's always good to revisit favourites and start from there. Exercising the movie muscles is easier when you know you're in for a good time.
