History is not as simple as the video below makes it out to be. Numerous factors, interests, agendas, and conspiracies have been at play in the history of American-Iranian relations. The role of secret societies and shadow diplomacy in shaping events cannot be overlooked.
But the gist of the blowback theory is correct. Western intervention has never led to anything good and positive in that part of the world. Assassinations of leaders and overthrowing governments have only led to the rise of terrorist groups, Islamic extremism, mass refugee exodus, tyranny, chaos, and war.
