Philip Giraldi - Is Israel a U.S. ally?

Who is the decider? Who fires the first shot? Who moves the pieces? Who chooses the narrative? Who is the king and who is the slave?

Palestinians are pawns in a civilizational struggle, and so are Americans. Washington can't be a peacemaker in the Israeli-Palestinian war because it is a passenger, and even a blind hostage on some nights. It has never been the driver.

Joe Biden's famous statement from 1986 that if Israel didn't exist America would have to invent it because its interests in the region are so well-served by its existence is a lie. He probably said it to make himself feel better about being so subservient to Israel because no rational person truly believes that a country that is constantly in a state of war with its neighbours is of benefit to any one.

The Palestinians are also pawns. The Palestinian struggle stopped being a war for national liberation once the Muslim Brotherhood and the Ayatollahs entered the picture. Since then it's been a holy struggle between Muslim and Jew, and such a war will end very badly because neither side is willing to compromise.

Christians have no agency in such a war, they are mere useful pawns. Ditto for the secular Europeans who at this point couldn't tell their asses from their heads. That's how bad they've been mindfucked.

The only rational states on the world stage whose words on this war should be taken seriously are China and Russia. They are not weighed down by guilt like the Europeans or poisoned and corrupted like the Americans. They hold the keys to a long-term peace.
