The disease of Islamic fundamentalism will not be stopped by NATO because it has no strategic reason to do so. Christians who are killed in terrorist attacks in Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, or wherever are filed under "collateral damage" and soon forgotten, because at the end of the day, Islamic fundamentalist proxies are more valuable to NATO than the Christian civilians of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
