The Nightmare That Never Ends: Devils In America Are Arming Both Sides In Iraq

"The suffering is far from over in Iraq, reports Felicity Arbuthnot. Its new dictator is being supported by massive shipments of horrific weapons from the United States" - Source.

For the US military-industrial-media-congressional complex, Iraq is the gift that keeps on giving. The US would like nothing more than to see a new Saddam take total control of the country. Not only would it help weapon sales, but he can be demonized in the future so Iraq can be attacked for a third time. By then the US will have developed millions of drones and robots so it won't have to worry about the political consequences of sending soldiers to re-occupy Baghdad.

What is the nature of the "democratic" government that the U.S. built in Iraq after the illegal invasion in 2003? Felicity Arbuthnot writes:
In a Presentation at European Parliament in Brussels on 29th January the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, likened Iraq's justice system to "processing animals in a slaughterhouse".

She also accused Iraq's justice system of being "too deeply flawed to warrant even a limited use of the death penalty, let alone dozens of executions at a time." Torture, sexual abuse and the threat of rape and actual rape are frequently inflicted on detainees, regardless of their gender.

In January this year 38 people were hanged in two days. Last October 42 prisoners were executed in two days, acts Pillay called "obscene and inhuman". Iraq now has the third highest execution rate on earth, according to Amnesty International.
Washington is sending 100 Hellfire missiles to Maliki, who a week ago almost declared war on US Gulf Arab allies for their role in provoking sectarian violence and supporting Sunni Jihadists in western Iraq. Speaking of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Maliki said, "These two countries are primarily responsible for the sectarian and terrorist and security crisis of Iraq." What does Washington have to say about that? So far, silence.

Here is an excerpt from, "US ships arms to aid fight against Islamist militants in Iraq" AP via The Guardian, March 16:
The US embassy to Iraq says the United States has delivered 100 Hellfire missiles, along with assault rifles and ammunition, as part of its anti-terrorism assistance to the country.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the embassy said the delivery was made earlier this month in order to help bolster Iraq forces fighting a breakaway al-Qaida group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

The statement promised to send more weapons to Iraq in the coming weeks.
Tweet by Washington Post's Beirut bureau chief on US shipment of weapons to Iraq's government in 2014:
US arms sent to Iraq since mid-Jan: 11 million rounds of ammo, 1000s of M-16s, M-4s etc, 100 Hellfire missiles (U.S. Embassy Baghdad).
As we know from reports on the ground in Syria, the Obama administration has proactively and enthusiastically armed groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and Al-Nusra Front. The US has no problems with supporting Jihadist terrorism when it suits its purposes and goals. To arm these radical and violent groups while at the same time arming their enemies in the Iraqi government is beyond cynicism.

It is clear Washington is only interested in creating chaos, destruction, and perpetual instability in the Middle East. It has no consistent approach, no grand strategy, no principles or values, no mission or cause, just weapons to sell. And the stupid Muslim world is buying what the devils in D.C. have to sell instead of showing them the door and telling them to go to hell.
