Al-Qaeda Is Disappointed In British Parliament, Calls On British PM To Attack Syria

Below is a short statement by Jamal Ahmed al-Tahiri, the spokesman for Al-Qaeda in Damascus (AQD), in response to the British Parliament's decision against military action in Syria.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful, America the Accursed, Aslam O' Alikum,

The blind and stupid men in the British Parliament do not see what we see here on the ground. Bashar the dog is killing women and children with chemical weapons.

Assad is mocking America and Great Britain. Mr. Obama and Mr. Cameron must respond with full force and break this war criminal to pieces. They must ignore the will of their people and the opinions of know-nothing politicians in the House and the Congress who can't even find Syria on a map.

We in Al-Qaeda in Damascus are disappointed in the British Parliament for failing to stand up for human values and the protection of human rights.

But no decision in the British Parliament can make the facts go away.

We have presented the moral case for the world, led by America and England, to intervene in Syria and overthrow Assad.

We still have hope that Barack Obama, that great and dignified Muslim, will liberate Syria and save us from Assad's fury.
