Alex's accomplishments and the heavy duty shift he put in day after day for over the last three decades, giving people a political education, putting his reputation on the line to highlight controversial subjects, cannot be denied. I listened to the man every day for many years and I'm thankful I did. He was a hero for many of us.
But there are limits. Using his powerful voice for war and oppression is a crime against his listeners and advocates.
