Christian Zionists in the West, especially in America, support the government of Israel blindly. The government of Israel supports Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and Al-Nusra on multiple battlefronts, in the international media by raising their profile through false flag attacks as well as on the battlefields of Syria. ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and Al-Nusra are massacring, executing, and kidnapping Christians in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and across the Middle East.
So you could make the argument that Christian Zionists and the government of Israel are wiping out the Christians of Syria and Iraq, who have done them no harm. And if they're not wiping them out deliberately, they're at the very least sacrificing them for geopolitical purposes, which amounts to the same thing.
What is Pope Francis saying about this? Nothing. He welcomed Netanyahu to the Vatican.
