Ian Matthew Morris (born 27 January 1960) is an American historian. He is currently Willard Professor of Classics at Stanford University.
Morris grew up in the United Kingdom. He attended Alleyne's comprehensive school in Stone, Staffordshire, and studied ancient history and archaeology at the University of Birmingham.
