Near the end of the video, the man says that Russia is protecting its citizens in Ukraine, and that if hundreds of thousands of American citizens were under threat in Mexico or any other South American country then the U.S. government would rightly send soldiers there to defend its citizens. He says Russia is not going to war, but that it has the right to use force to defend Russian citizens and Russian-speaking people in Ukraine. These citizens face threats to their lives from ultranationalists and neo-fascists who have taken a prominent role in the new government in Western Ukraine.
