Former Sec. of Defense Donald Rumsfeld Threatens America With Terrorism, Says Trillion Dollar Pentagon Budget Must Not Be Touched

"My attitude toward all officialdom and government authority is unchanged: they make me gnash my teeth." - German-Swiss poet Hermann Hesse (Reflections: pg. 21).
In an interview with the website Human Events, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld warned that if the Pentagon budget is cut to address the deficit problem then America will be attacked again. Rumsfeld said:
"The Department of Defense is not what’s causing the debt and the deficit. It’s the entitlement programs. If we make that mistake, we’re doomed to suffer another attack of some kind, and our intelligence will be less strong and less effective." (Source: Human Events, "Rumsfeld: Attack Imminent If Congress Cuts Defense," by Jason Mattera, September 10, 2011).
Rumsfeld's quote must be taken in the context of the 9/11 attacks, which were planned and executed out of the Bush White House and the Defense Department that Rumsfeld led before and after the attacks.

It is obvious that Rumsfeld is back to his old tricks, and using the strategy of fear to make the American people think that the bloated Pentagon budget is necessary for their safety. He is using the sacred myth of 9/11 to bolster support for the sacred cow that is the Pentagon budget.

The tenth anniversary of 9/11 was like the full moon that drew the wolf, Rumsfeld, out of the wilderness of political retirement and onto the mountain peaks of television to howl about a new terrorist attack. And the wolf is hungry for more blood and carnage.

Rumsfeld repeated his hawkish stance that the Pentagon budget must not be cut on Fareed Zakaria's CNN show on September 11, 2001. He said:
Today, with the debt crisis, and the deficit crisis, we're about to make the same mistake we've made after World War II, after Vietnam and Korea, and then after the Cold War.
.
.
And if we do what it looks like the Congress is going to do, think they can balance the budget off the Pentagon, I think it will be a tragic mistake for the country.
Zakaria challenged some of Rumsfeld's claims but he didn't question him on the main issue, which is that the basis of the war on terror and hence the massive Pentagon budget is totally illegitimate. The terrorism threat isn't real.

Rumsfeld is using terror and spreading fear in a systematic way to advance private interests and put unpopular government policies out of the boundaries of democratic criticism.

By definition Rumsfeld is a state terrorist and war criminal who deserves the death penalty. The policies that he is promoting and defending are insane and criminal. There is no reasonable basis for a war on terror. It is all built on hype, disinformation, propaganda, and reality modification.

Rumsfeld is a reality modifier. He spins the facts as he likes and lies about the most impotant issues that face America and humanity. Reality modifiers try to systematically kill the truth of history and defend their lies by citing their own authority.

But the government, media and traditional sources of authority in Western society have lost all authority because they have lost touch with reality.

"Today political reason is no longer at the seat of political power," wrote Hermann Hesse. "If catastrophes are to be avoided or attenuated, an influx of intelligence and intuition from unofficial circles is indispensable."

Rumsfeld is ten thousand times more dangerous than any terrorist. The terrorist in the street wants to change how the people and public officials act; but the terrorist in the halls of government like Rumsfeld wants to change how the people and public officials think. The later is more subversive, cunning, intellectually energetic and politically ambitious.

The feeling of being terrorized by your own government is like being sexually molested by your own father, so when it happens the truth is suppressed.

It is taboo to say that the relationship between the people and the government in America has been so totally broken and destroyed that there is no stable future for either. Right now the United States government is on top of the American people in a master-slave relationship. It is controlled by vultures who exploit public grief and traumatic events like 9/11 to push their agenda for world domination.

The sacred myth of 9/11 and the sacred narrative that underlies the war on terror are both used by professional con artists like Rumsfeld to protect the various sacred cows in Washington, and uphold the current unjust system.

Rumsfeld and the other state terrorists will do everything they can to destroy Social Security, Medicare and the future of the American people while scaring the country to death. Ever since they got into office their plan has been to use terror, fear and lies to get what they want out of the American people.
