I don't have a dog in this fight. I hate both of these murderous and criminal entities. May God curse them.
But, facts are facts. Wars are won on the battlefield. And Israel won.
When Israel decapitated Hezbollah and forced Assad out of Damascus the so-called "Axis of Resistance" was broken.
They fought valiantly and they lost.
Nasrallah was the centerpiece, the jewel of the whole operation. His assassination paralyzed Hezbollah, killed the backbone of the Shia resistance to Israel, and embarrassed the Islamic Republic.
The great Shia army, the army that was going to liberate Palestine, was defeated by pagers.
It is what it is.
The Ayatollahs were found out. Netanyahu won.
And instead of retaliating and avenging the fallen commanders, the Ayatollahs withdrew into their cocoon, only to unleash their swords to kill innocent Iranians who have had enough with their mismanagement of the country.
These idiots are screaming Death to America while their capital is running out of water. The juxtaposition between the fantasy and the reality, the empty slogans and the inaction, is just too stark to ignore.
If you're not going to fight Israel and punish it after all the crimes it's committed by now, then just pack it up and move on. War is not for you. Religion is your calling card. Stick to that. Stick to preaching to the poor masses like you always have. Stick to what you're good at. Let the grown ups handle war and international politics.
Right now Iran lacks grown ups. The Ayatollahs have the mentality of children. Trump is similar. The leaders of both regimes trade insults like school children, and threaten to fight but never do.
Washington and Tehran have been telling each other and the whole world to meet at the schoolyard at 3 pm to fight for almost fifty years now. But 3 pm strikes and these losers go home every time without ever throwing a punch.
Either fight or shut the fuck up.
Let the American people and Iranian people move on from this chapter in their relations.
Make war or make peace.
The status quo is death.
