The public misperception around the issue of Al-Qaeda is still huge, and why wouldn't it be?
We've all been collectively mindfucked with acts of terrorism, the threat of terrorism, images of hooded terrorists, and of course the twin towers falling in the biggest act of self-sabotage in human history.
So there should be compassion and sympathy for people who still cling to the existence of al-Qaeda.
The reality is Al-Qaeda never existed. It was never a threat. It was a figment of the West's collective imagination that was deliberately invented to justify illegal wars.
The people currently in control of Syria are not al-Qaeda. They're not genuine or independent leaders. They are the well-paid agents of the MI6, Mossad, and CIA. They are well-groomed actors. Behind the scenes they put on make up for the cameras. They're political dolls.
Syria's political future doesn't look bright at all. It will descend into dictatorship and civil war. It's a hollowed out society with inflexible institutions, foreign mercenaries running amok, and external hyenas just waiting to pounce to seize territory. Political Islam will not revive it but further put the nail in the coffin.
Israel has already had a field day there in the abscene of a strong central state, internal disunity, lack of friendly allies, and no hopes for economic prosperity.
Those nations who align themselves with this rotten version of Syria are showing their true colours.
