The Russian history we get in the West, in our public schools and universities, is not the real history. There was no revolution. The destruction of the Russian state and monarchy towards the end of WWI did not spring organically out of the Russian people. The Russian people had no love for the Bolshevik terrorists.
Historian Antony C. Sutton documented how Wall Street banking firms were instrumental in bringing the Bolsheviks to power. And the aid didn't stop in 1917. It was American and Western industry that kept Russia afloat for much of the 1920s.
The Bolsheviks, like all ideological revolutionaries everywhere, only knew how to kill, spy, cheat, blackmail, torture, and politically intimidate its internal opponents. They knew nothing about how to run an economy, build factories, or structure a state. Even Putin and current Russian leaders admit now that Lenin made a catastrophic mistake giving Ukraine all that territory.

He is known for promoting the antisemitic conspiracy theory Judeo-Bolshevism, which claims that Jews were responsible for the Russian Revolution.
