And let's just say Switzerland goes up 1-0 against Argentina, we all know those motherfuckers will get a penalty before the Swiss players even get to celebrate their goal. Argentina is advancing to the Semis by hook or by crook. So let's not even waste time analyzing that match up.
1. France vs. Morocco.
Morocco could make this interesting. But playing rope-a-dope against France isn't going to work. This is a team that can deliver knockout blows early and often. Morocco just doesn't score enough, and with their main striker sidelined, they don't have enough firepower to compete with the French attack. I think this will be an easy game for France after the hell they went through with Paraguay. 3-1 France.
2. Spain vs. Belgium.
If there's one game I will not committ to watching intently it is this one. I might have an audiobook in the background to keep me awake and alert. I'll just say 2-0 Spain, why not.
3. Norway vs. England.
This is the game we're all looking forward to the most. There's a good chance there will be a lot of goals in this one. It's a case of deciding between the best player or the better team. Both are riding good momentum. What's more impressive - beating Brazil or Mexico on its home turf? It's tough to call. I think it could go to penalties. And both goalkeepers are looking sharp so that may be a toss up as well. But I trust the Norway penalty takers more. Norway advances on pens.
