Deal or no deal, a war is around the corner.
A big war in the Middle East that hopefully sees the end of the American empire, the state of Israel, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, would be great for peace and stability in the region and the wider world.
Take a look at the geopolitical map in West Asia today, post-Assad and post-Hamas, what you'll find is an emboldened Israel, a bewildered Iran, a resurgent Turkey, and an Arab world eating itself.
The greatest threats to regional peace and stability, aside from Turkey and its ISIS proxy in Syria, are American bases, Iranian-backed Shiite proxies, and Israel.
If a new shiny war ends all three threats to peace then the EU, Russia, China, and the peoples of the Middle East would benefit greatly.
The problem is Israel is armed with nuclear weapons and is itching to use them at the first sign of trouble. It's Chekhov's gun in this entire drama. I think it will eventually be used because the Israelis are that crazy and cowardly.
I've said before that the Ayatollahs should surrender, recognize the state of Israel, and focus on their economy if they want to survive.
If you're not going to build nukes, or retaliate significantly when your generals and allies are killed, then just hang it up. War is not for you. Stick to religion.
Having a fatwa against the building of nukes is the stupidest thing they could have done.
Israel has no such qualms. And as a result it has waged war effectively and successfully.
Israel won the Middle East the moment it stole nukes and killed Kennedy for having the audacity to look into it.
It won Palestine and America in the 60s.
Everything since then has been a big victory lap.
Everything from that point forward regarding peace talks with the Arabs and the Palestinian conflict has been settled. We've just seen history play out in the last sixty years, with Israel claiming more and more territory every decade.
As long as it has nukes and the biggest goy empire under its control Israel can essentially do whatever it wants in West Asia. It is its playground.
It's not a matter of accepting defeat for Iran and the larger Muslim world. It's a question of is Palestine worth it?
I don't see how it is.
Just let the Jews have the whole area and send the Palestinians packing to Syria. They'll feel at home there with Assad gone.
