Iran Is Not Enough: Israel's Quest For World Domination

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?

Goldfinger: No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!

The ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran are a joke. I expect war in the coming weeks.

And I expect Iran to be betrayed by all sides, especially the Muslim states, but also Russia and China.

And it won't be a short affair.

I'm sure they'll sell it as "the war to end all wars." They always use that line.

But they won't stop with Iran.

A few days ago the former Israeli Prime Minister made a speech, declaring that, "Turkey is the new Iran."

It's a bit presumptuous on his part considering the job of knocking off Iran is far from done. Iran is strapped down with its nuts on the chopping block but until the final blow nothing should be assumed. It's an act of hubris to declare victory before the fighting has even begun.

But it's totally understandable why the Israelis are so full of hubris. They humiliated Hezbollah, chased Assad to Moscow in his pajamas, and killed off Palestinians by the tens of thousands for fun. That's a lot of victories. Plus they have their man in the White House.

It's only human nature to be over-confident in such a situation.

But there are limits to military ambition. Napoleon. Hitler. They didn't know when to quit either. Victory emboldened them to march on. And those were great European armies.

Israel does not possess a great army. It needs allies. It needs proxies. It only pretends to be a world conqueror.

Killing the poor, malnourished children of Gaza is not exactly a noble military feat. It's like when Turkey and Iran boast of killing Kurds, as if that makes them conquerors.

Taking down Iran, ok, then the Israelis would have the right to boast.

But that hasn't happened yet.

And let's say it does, what's next after Tehran? Constantinople? Are the Jews trying to fool themselves or the world?

Without Turkey Israel would not have achieved its objectives in Syria and Iraq. And they need Turkey in their current war against Iran. I know the Israelis are serial backstabbers, but I don't ever see the two countries fighting against each other.

Israel has nothing to fear from the Turks. They both want to manage the regional situation and profit off the misery in Syria, Palestine, and the larger Muslim world.

Forget Turkey. Forget Iran.

Israel's quest for world domination can only be ended in Washington, not anywhere else.
