"War is a matter not so much of arms as of money" - Thucydides.
"It is a common mistake in going to war to begin at the wrong end, to act first, and wait for disaster to discuss the matter." - Thucydides.
Ages of the following leaders:
Don Diaper: 79.
Ben Nitay: 76.
Ayatollah Pol Pot: 86.
Leaders who call for war should be in the prime of life and fighting on the frontlines alongside their soldiers, not decrepit old men barely hanging on with diapers on.
Kings and conquerors of previous ages deserved everything they got because they bled and fought for it. The politicians and leaders of today don't serve in wars, and if they do they rarely fight.
Why do people admire Napoleon and even Hitler to this day? Because they were soldiers first and foremost. They led from the front, and took the arrows. You can start all the wars you want if you lay your life on the line and practice what you preach.
The United States is not led by such leaders today. Eisenhower was their last General turned President and he was a well known faggot so he doesn't count.
Israel and Iran are led by criminals and cowards, so take them off the board. Putin was an intelligence officer, not a soldier, you can cross his name off, too. And Zelensky, I mean, come on, he's an abomination.
The point is that modern nation states, whether led by billionaires, revolutionaries, theocrats, terrorists, globalist bureaucrats, bankers, intel officers, actors, what have you, would never lay their own life on the line and yet they expect taxpayers and common citizens to. They can't inspire. That's why modern governments rely on fear and propaganda to build consensus for wars.
That would never fly in the Middle Ages or in ancient times. A king had to be symbolically present on the battlefield. And a great king would lead the charge.
