Putin-Trump Summit: Minsk 3.0 at Best, A Trap for President Putin at Worst

The West's policy of fighting to the last Ukrainian isn't hyperbole. The junta in Ukraine is pulling every able-body guy on the street into the disastrous war. This is an Ukrainian genocide that's being camouflaged as a heroic fight against Russia. Washingdon is turning Ukraine into a wasteland. Russia, when it takes Kyiv, will eventually repopulate it, winning the war permanently. A massive re-education of the Ukrainian population will be necessary to prevent yet another conflict in the future.

That requires incorporating Russia into a governing Council for Europe of some sort. Europe historically has been at peace only when all the great powers who could overthrow the peace have been co-opted into it. A perfect example is the Congress of Vienna which followed the Napoleonic wars where Kissinger’s great hero met in it and others had the good sense to to reincorporate France into the governing Councils of Europe.
