When it comes to U.S. policy in the Near East, time is a flat circle.
Dictators are installed, armed and goaded to war, then, when their usefulness has expired, they are demonized and dethroned.
Rinse and repeat. It's a never ending cycle conceived by evil men.
In the past the Americans, French, and British would select their clients from the army or royalty to rule over Muslim lands, whether it be Iraq, Iran, or Syria. But in this century they've changed their strategy and are using their links in terrorist organizations.
They've emboldened Sunni Jihadist terrorists in Libya, Afghanistan, and now Syria to the level of heads of states.
And none of it would be possible without the role played by Turkey. Whether Erdogan succeeds in building a new Islamic Caliphate, stretching from Libya and North Africa to Central Asia and China, is unlikely. Turkey is playing the role of the useful idiot.
But useful idiots are the most dangerous. Erdogan's hegemonic ambitions will create millions of victims. We've already seen Druze, Alawites, Christians, Kurds, and other minorities come under attack from Damascus since the elevation of the terrorists there by Washington, Turkey, Israel, and Europe.
Also, the disastrous events in Libya since Gaddafi's assassination, with the reintroduction of slave markets and massive influx of refugees into Europe, cannot be forgotten.
Israel has played the biggest role in all of these preventable disasters. It has destroyed its immediate enemies under the banner of humanitarian regime changes, dragged America's name through the mud, and unloaded a massive population wave on Europe that has altered its political, cultural, and demographic landscape.
There is no question that Israel is at war not just with the Palestinians, Hamas, Iran, or Muslims, but with the entire world. It is waging war on Washington, on the United Nations, on anything and everything standing in its way. The dead Gazans are just its most visible victims.
