Donald Trump is America's first Zionist President. He wraps himself in the flag to proclaim his patriotism but his true allegiance is to himself. He's more like a leader of a religious cult, similar to Netanyahu and Khamenei, than the leader of a confident and strong superpower.
America became strong and confident by fighting in European wars in the 20th century and winning them. It had to be dragged to those wars via British and Jewish prodding but it ultimately joined them and won, with Russia playing a decisive role in both wars.
But it lost that confidence by fighting, and losing, wars in the Middle East in this century. Not one war, not in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen or Syria, has served its national interests, strategic position, and international prestige.
Washington can say it liberated Europe from fascism, although that's up for debate, but it hasn't liberated anyone in the Middle East. It replaced dictators with terrorists, from Damascus to Kabul. It put the most corrupt government in power in Iraq and literal slave traders in Libya.
Who does it want to take power in Iran should it succeed and throw the Mullahs out? As of now, it seems they just want chaos to rule, with Iran mired in civil war and facing international terrorism like Syria did for a decade.
But unlike Syria or Iraq, the government in Iran can fight back, not just hold on to survive by its fingertips. The whole region will go up in flames should Washington and Tehran fight a prolonged war. And any government that replaces the current one won't forgive and forget. Trump will hand Iran over to China for the rest of the century.
He now has the chance to make peace with the government in Iran before embarking on the biggest disaster in this entire timeline that began on 9/11. All he has to do is fire Israel into the sun, and commence a permanent peace deal.
