In his January 22, 2015 speech before the World Economic Forum at Davos, Egyptian President Abd Al-Fattah Al-Sisi stressed the need for a resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of a two-state solution, and said: "Nobody could tell what was going on in President Anwar Al-Sadat's mind when he proposed his vision for peace... But the years that have passed have proven the accuracy and genius nature of his vision."
