In a recent TV interview, Hanan Al-Fatlawi, a Shiite Iraqi MP of the State of Law Coalition, said: ""I will send my son [to fight] only if the people for whom he is fighting appreciate this, and they will not ululate while my son is slaughtered." She further said: "It would be a stupid mistake to send our sons to this holocaust. The interview was broadcast on the Iraqi Hona Baghdad TV channel and posted on the Internet on September 27.

This Iraqi MP makes a lot of great points. Her comments further prove that Iraq as a unified country is done. It's history. President Obama's regional strategy against ISIS is based on a "united, and inclusive government" in Iraq but even Iraqi MPs no longer believe that Iraq as it is currently constructed is a single country. So Washington's publicly espoused strategy will fail, and they know it better than anyone else.
