Al-Qaeda's lobbyists in Washington are pushing for a U.S. intervention in Syria. The move would further strengthen Al-Qaeda's grip on some of the northern cities in Syria and challenge Assad's rule.
Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups have received money and arms from the U.S. government and its Arab allies since the start of the conflict. Such support has come to light due to independent investigative reporting.
So far, Washington has denied its role in propping up terrorist forces in Syria. The Obama administration has decided to act covertly, following in the fashion of the Jihadist cowards who are operating under its direction.
