Washington and Al-Qaeda are coordinating together in Syria. This isn't a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." This is a case of sponsoring a terror group to create chaos and kill innocent Syrians with the ultimate goal of overthrowing its government.
This is old news, but it is the kind of old news that should stay news because so many people are still in the dark about it.
