Mickey Huff, Director of Project Censored, Talking About Propaganda And Censorship

"The effects of censorship on a culture renders it impotent to deal with its own problems and its own issues and troubles. So, again, censorship is a real serious problem. And I think the biggest problem of all is that because America lives in, again to borrow from Hedges, an empire of illusion, we have a gap between our perceptions and what reality may actually be in the fact-based world that we're incapable of understanding what we're to do about it to the degree to which that we don't realize that we even are being systematically lied to by media on a daily basis. Or we don't want to believe that this something that's happening on a daily basis. And I'm not just talking about Glenn Beck and Fox, and Wolf Blitzer that we mentioned here earlier, it's happening all over." - Mickey Huff.
