"Time is the one incorruptible judge.
One minute is long enough to accuse a man.
To prove his innocence takes longer."
- Sophocles, "Oedipus the King."
One minute is long enough to accuse a man.
To prove his innocence takes longer."
- Sophocles, "Oedipus the King."
The murder of Troy Davis, who was wrongly accused of killing a cop twenty years ago, is not a unique case. Davis suffered the fate of the scapegoat. The burden of guilt for a crime he did not commit was laid on his shoulders and he was forced to carry it to his grave.
His death was a preventable tragedy. But politicians, judges and public officials went along with the ritual of public execution because they don't like to admit their mistakes to the public and change course. Their excessive pride and egotism lead to tragedies and needless suffering.
Davis's tragic death brought a sense of healing and closure to the family of the deceased police officer, Mark Allen MacPhail, but it has shattered the belief that the American Justice System works. Two wrongs don't make a right. The death of another innocent man at the hands of the Deaf and Blind State is a further indication that justice does not exist in America.
The murderers of President John F. Kennedy have never been brought to justice. Instead, they were promoted to the highest office in the land. The conspirators behind JFK's murder included President Johnson, President Ford, who served on the Warren Commission, and President George H. W. Bush, who became head of the CIA in the 1970s and then president in 1988.
There is a connection between Troy Davis and Lee Harvey Oswald. Their lives followed the pattern of the scapegoat. Both were wrongly blamed for evil acts and then executed.
The scapegoating trend in American society is very disturbing and cruel, but it's not unique to America. Every society suffers from the miscarriage of justice. But America is a special country. And it is lost and blind because it refuses to face its real demons and find the real culprits for evil deeds like the murder of JFK and the 9/11 attacks.
Why has the American Justice System has betrayed the American people and the American Constitution? Why are murderers like George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Barack Obama are allowed to walk free in the White House while innocent men like Troy Davis are executed? The answer is because the corrupt usurpers of America believe they are above the law and retribution. They believe they can get away with any crime as long as the American people are kept in a state of ignorance. And they're right.
The Troy Davis travesty is standard operating procedure. The rape of justice in America goes so much deeper, and higher. The victims of 9/11 and their family members have been treated as less than human by the government murderers behind the 9/11 attacks. And the people in Iraq and Afghanistan have gotten the same treatment.
When cases are brought against the criminal murderers in power they are dismissed in a court of law and ignored by the shameless media. Here is just one example. April Gallop, an Army specialist who survived the missile attack on the Pentagon on 9/11, brought charges of conspiracy to murder against Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, and Richard Myers. But her case was dropped on April 27, 2007, by the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. One of the judges who denied Gallop and all Americans the justice they are due was George W. Bush's cousin, John M. Walker, Jr.
No one in the media covered Gallop's case. Instead, the media concentrated on the fake assassination of Osama Bin Laden, which happened a couple of days after the court dismissed Gallop's explosive case. They want to keep giving the issue of 9/11 truth and justice the silent treatment.
Justice and freedom cannot survive in a land where the highest leaders are murderers and war criminals who kill their own people for profit and power. To get to the root of the problem, we need to understand the scapegoat symptom and how it works against justice in human society.
In an article called, "The Scapegoat in American Culture: From Lee Harvey Oswald To Osama bin Laden," I wrote:
The American empire is no different than any other world empire. It engages in acts of evil around the world, it commits crimes against sovereign nations, and it oppresses its own people in the name of "national security." But none of this would be possible if the rulers of the empire were not exceptionally good at one thing in particular, which is manufacturing a scapegoat to justify its acts of evil and its atrocities. In Sophocles's 'Oedipus The King,' the guilty king of Thebes, Oedipus, commits unspeakable crimes whose real nature he is unaware of because he does not know the truth about his birth and his destiny. He is blind to his own madness and folly.
But the same can't be said of the guilty brutes who control America. They know what they are doing and why they are doing them; the financial crimes, the assassinations, the murders, the wars, the false flag terror attacks, the deceptions, all of it. And they are holding the American people hostage by denying them the truth abut their crimes against America and humanity, which includes 9/11.
Troy Davis's life was not saved, but America can be saved if the truth is told and real justice is done. Davis's last message to the MacPhail family can be directed to all of America: "dig deeper and find the truth."
Only true justice can bring peace and healing to the victims of 9/11 and the victims of the war on terror, as well as the nations of Iraq, Afghanistan, America, and every other nation that is involved in the tragedy.
The state murderers in America and Israel who did the 9/11 attacks are afraid of one thing above all else: daylight.
Near the end of Sophocles's play, Oedipus says, "Daylight has no mercy. It shows too much, too clearly."
