Will Israeli Leaders Choose A New World War Over A New Palestinian State?

In September a political earthquake will hit the United Nations. It is almost certain that Palestine will be recognized as an official country by over 100 member states of the United Nations. The international tables will be turned on Israel. Such a decision by the UN will mean a diplomatic and propaganda defeat for Israel comparable to Napoleon's military defeat at Waterloo in 1815.

But do not expect Israel to listen to the voice of the international community. A last ditch effort to attack Iran and/or other countries in the region may put off Palestinian aspirations for statehood and change the political discourse.

When diplomacy fails tyrants always march to war. Israeli tyrants, like all tyrants throughout history, would rather risk the security of Israel than face political humiliation and confront a new political reality.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered his sermon of war to the choir last month in Congress. As usual, Prime Minister Nosferatu fearmongered about Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, a claim which has been refuted numerous times, most recently by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh in the New Yorker. Hersh writes, "despite years of covert operations inside Iran, extensive satellite imagery, and the recruitment of Iranian intelligence assets, the United States and its allies, including Israel, have been unable to find irrefutable evidence of an ongoing hidden nuclear-weapons program in Iran."

On Wednesday, June 1, former Mossad chief Meir Dagan gave a speech at Tel Aviv University, warning against Israeli aggression towards Iran. "I recommend that the prime minister not decide to attack," he said.

Many Israelis have criticized Dagan for expressing his opinion in public and going against the current. But Gideon Levy praised his vigilance and his dedication to Israel in Haaretz on Sunday, June 5. "He should be commended for his responsible and courageous act," said Levy. "If Dagan the civilian is worried, if he thinks it's a matter of a threat to our existence at our doorstep, it is not only his right to make himself heard, it is his supreme duty. He should attempt to stop it, to act as a gatekeeper. If he acted otherwise, he would have been abusing his role as former Mossad director."

If only more public officials in Israel, America, and the West had the courage like Dagan to raise their voices and tame down the passions that lead to war. It is not easy to say something unpopular during times of mass fear and mass war hysteria, but it is the patriotic and right thing to do.

For many years we have heard talk of world war three. We have seen images of a new world war in comic books, movies, and video games. By the end of this year it may no longer be an apocalyptic scenario, but a global reality.

On June 1, Amir Oren said in Haaretz that changes in leadership at the CIA, White House and Pentagon may have beneficial political consequences for Israeli leaders should they decide to attack Iran. Oren writes:
Therefore the changes in leadership at the Pentagon are not merely an American story. The chance that Dempsey, at the start of his term of office, would advise Obama to attack Iran, or to permit Israel to do so, is not high. The outgoing head, Mullen, is likewise not enthusiastic about that but his ties with the IDF's general staff are close and it can be assumed that, if Benny Gantz was persuaded to sign a plan by Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, Mullen would not be happy but would also not torpedo it.

The conclusion is that between the end of June and Gates' retirement, and the end of September and Mullen's retirement, the danger that Netanyahu and Barak will aim at a surprise in Iran is especially great, especially since this would divert attention from the Palestinian issue. As the Supreme Court explained to Moshe Katsav's lawyers, some plans for summer vacations might be canceled.
If Israel strikes Iran - an act that seems more likely as each day passes - it will trigger a new world war.

Moshe Yaalon, Israel's minister for strategic affairs, says that the Iranian Islamic regime threatens the entire world and that there should be a pre-emptive attack against its nuclear facilities. "We strongly hope," said Yaalon, "that the entire civilized world will come to realize what threat this regime is posing and take joint action to avert the nuclear threat posed by Iran, even if it would be necessary to conduct a pre-emptive strike."

In case you need to be reminded, Hitler was a fan of pre-emptive attacks. War-mad tyrants love to strike their regional neighbors in order to catch them with their pants down and humiliate them, and to remain the top dog in the region.

A war with Iran is an obsession for Israeli Prime Minister Nosferatu and his cabinet, along with high-ranking public officials in Washington. Peace was never an option. Total war was always the neocons' dream for the Middle East. And it looks like their hellish dream will come true.

If people continue to look on indifferently like sheep then mass destruction, chaos and world war will define this decade.

A world war is not inevitable. Wars are always the product of resourceful, greedy, cunning, and evil gangsters. A world war involving Israel, Iran, and America is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The mad tyrants of Israel and America will unleash the mad tyrants of Iran by attacking Iran.

There is a mutually destructive relationship between both sides, except the generals, mullahs and politicians won't personally feel the pain. The leaders who call the shots and rush the people to war never personally suffer for their horrific decisions. That is the sickness and insanity of modern war. Generals, political leaders and elitist intellectual ideologues sit at desks, drawing up military plans and propaganda talking points, and then enlist slaves to fight and fulfill their dreams of glory.

When will the people realize that mankind's greatest enemies are the generals, political leaders, corrupt bankers, and elitist intellectual wizards like the neocons who come around every generation to exercise power destructively and start wars for their own interests?

Powerful men who start wars, stage false flag attacks like 9/11, and deceive the people are the monsters and evil-doers who should be put down like dogs.
