Into The Fire: 9/11, & The Unknown War for Public Opinion

Credo quia absurdum

Contrary to propaganda opinion, the West is not free. Our so-called democratic governments have not been honest with the people about the true origins of the government-made crisis that is called terrorism.
And I am not coming from an anti-government perspective. Nor do I believe that non-state terrorism doesn't exist. It does, but it must be put into context, and any terrorist threat must be handled with detective tools rather than predator drones. But the larger threat to human civilization that we must face and fight against is state terrorism.

I assume that very few people who work in the US government are aware of this. A lot of high-level individuals in Western governments sincerely believe in the official story of 9/11 that was given by the Bush administration, and then repeated by the major media. And these individuals are most likely honorable citizens, who are committed to combating the "terrorism" threat as they know it. But what they know is not true. They have to be the most brainwashed citizens in our societies, or else a government such as the criminal one in the United States can not operate for long. Also, their line of work requires that they submit to institutional pressures and not question their bosses.

So we should not accept the words of authorities just because they have many years of experience. And I'm not speaking here as an anti-authoritarian. I believe that we need voices of authority in society, but what they say must correlate with the truth, facts, and concrete reality. The first and most important authority is the truth, which must be proven by scientific evidence. Any other authority is illegitimate. A regime that terrorizes and deceives is criminal, evil, and must be punished. Nazi Germany's fate was doom because it committed evil on a grand scale, and the same is true for the current regime in the United States.

Some people think what I and other believe is crazy. But we're not. I know it is difficult to admit that we live in a brainwashed world, but we do. The true extent of brainwashing in modern society is hard to know, such a fact can't be fully analyzed yet, but we must begin having this discussion. And I don't speak here as an expert, but as a student of history, a friend of humanity, and a reader of good books. So read what I have to say with skepticism. But also realize that what I and others believe is not controversial, or new.

Many critics and thinkers have written extensively about the in-depth nature of Western propaganda for some time now. Journalist John Pilger and professor Noam Chomsky continually discuss the subject of propaganda and social control by the mass media, but I think that they don't go far enough. Professor Peter Dale Scott's research is much more accurate and prescient. He has coined the term "deep politics," for a very good reason, the truth is much worse than we think it is. Deep down, we're afraid to acknowledge what has become of our world. In the hands of the crazies in Washington, it has gone to hell.

Forget Watergate. Criminality in Washington D.C. today is light years beyond what Nixon was doing. Journalists in our generation need to look for a deeper throat to get at the truth. But first they need to find some balls, and admit the fact that the U.S. federal government is the biggest terrorist organization in the world today. As I write, it is murdering the citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq, and plotting more attacks in the future. The U.S. war machine does not act morally or rationally. It is Osama Bin Laden x 3000. It is the Megatron of terrorism. The C.I.A. is the Mac Daddy of terror. And Osama is its illegitimate son. The real mechanism of terror is fear, and Cheney is the modern godfather of it. Need I say more?

And as far as public brainwashing goes, the USG and its many national security agencies (CIA, NSA), along with the aid of the corporate media, have coordinated a systematic psychological attack on America and humanity. The 9/11 big lie was a stake through the heart of truth. What was done on 9/11 will be remembered as the greatest crime by a government administration in human history. True, the evil and insane men behind the Bush administration were largely responsible for 9/11 and the subsequent cover-up, but without the efforts of the C.I.A., other government agencies, and the compliant mass media, they're dirty deed would not have been possible. Collectively, the US propaganda regime has left the KGB in the dust. Intelligence agencies and secret police from other countries stand in shame. The true masters of terror reside in Washington D.C.

After Cheney and gang told their first big lie on 9/11, they went forward and told another big lie about WMDs and the threat posed by Saddam Hussein to the civilized world. Another thing that terrorist organizations like to do is keep the population guessing, and act in an irrational manner so that their next move is not easily predicted. For years now, people have been speculating about America and Israel's possible attack against Iran, which will cause another cycle of mayhem and violence in the Middle East, and strike fear once again in the populations of the West.

Hitler, the biggest terrorist in all of human history, was known to act illogically. Psychologist Joost A.M. Meerloo, author of a 1956 book called "The Rape of the Mind," explains the tools of terror much more coherently and fluently than I do. In the chapter "The Cold War Against the Mind," he says:
There is another important weapon the totalitarians use in their campaign to frighten the world into submission. This is the weapon of psychological attack. Hitler kept his enemies in a state of constant confusion and diplomatic upheaval. They never knew what this unpredictable madman was going to do next. Hitler was never logical, because he knew that was what he was expected to be. Logic can be met with logic, while illogic cannot--it confuses those who think straight. The Big Lie and monotonously repeated nonsense have more emotional appeal in a cold war than logic and reason. While the enemy is still searching for a reasonable counter-argument to the first lie, the totalitarians can assault him with another. (pg. 101)
People can't imagine why the USG would attack, or allow an attack, on the American people. But when you're talking about insane and evil men, it's not so hard to imagine. After the Cold War ended, the US war snake turned on its own country and started to eat its own tail. Such historical betrayal and treason is unprecedented, but that is what happens when an arrogant and criminal elite gets a hold of a major superpower. The real terrorists behind 9/11 don't care about the collective fate of humanity. If there is any logic to their madness, it is an anti-humanist logic. Men like Dick Cheney are not psychologically healthy. Hitler had its demons. So why do we doubt that members of the Bush administration didn't have their own? America is not a beacon of righteousness, it has the same human weaknesses as other nations and empires throughout history. It is no more a nation of God than Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were. Ask yourself, was American and Western culture in 2001, 2005, anymore mentally sane than German culture in 1935, 1941, 1945? A lot of people would say no. In fact, our cultures have fared much worse. As Paul Craig Roberts has written, "truth has fallen and taken liberty with it." In that article, Roberts said:
America’s fate was sealed when the public and the anti-war movement bought the government’s 9/11 conspiracy theory. The government’s account of 9/11 is contradicted by much evidence. Nevertheless, this defining event of our time, which has launched the US on interminable wars of aggression and a domestic police state, is a taboo topic for investigation in the media. It is pointless to complain of war and a police state when one accepts the premise upon which they are based.
If we want a free, just and peaceful world, we must not be afraid to confront the 9/11 lie, and all the feelings it unleashes in us, and pull out the stake from our hearts. If we truly desire freedom, we must take risks to attain it, and facing the 9/11 lie is the first step in the right direction. The rigid stance that is taken by the corporate media in our respective societies must be challenged. We must get in their faces, as We Are Change is doing. The prohibition of 9/11 facts must end. The fear of change must end. And if that means stepping into the fire, then so be it. Nobody ever said that facing the truth is easy. And don't believe the fear-mongers who say that a new investigation into 9/11 will tear apart the entire society. It will only tear apart the United States government, which needs some tearing. It will tear apart the lives of the criminals who were behind the event, and the people who are consciously suppressing the truth. Answer those fear-mongers by showing them Iraq and Afghanistan, and ask, have they not been torn apart? Don't they deserve justice and truth? Don't we all?
