The Line is Gone

"'Tis the time's plague when madmen lead the blind." - Shakespeare

The moral center is not lost, nor has it been neglected; instead, it was flipped around and tread upon by the dead at dawn, who have since ruled the Kingdom by drawing lines instead of arms. They will spread their charm for as long as they are left unharmed by the pawns who have went beyond the call and shed blood for the many wars they have spawned. But rebels respond when the spell they're on vanishes at once back to hell's thickest pond. And it won't be long when the tyranny that's under away finally faces off against the peaceful warriors for whom it has mightily performed. Undoubtedly, the uninformed will stare amazed at the eye of the storm and puzzle at why it was formed, as they hide in their dorms. But the night will pass, and the blind will get wind that despite living as though they were akin to kings, they were always lied to like slaves, while they were pinned in the ring by the undertakers of liberty, who shall die in their graves.

"The truth is on the march, and nothing shall stop it." - Emile Zola

On September 11, 2006, Thomas Kean, chairman of the 9/11 Commission, told reporters at the National Press Club that he, and fellow chairman Lee Hamilton, both thought "the Commission in many ways was set up to fail, because we had not enough money, we didn't have enough time, we had been appointed by the most partisan people in Washington, the leaders of the House and Senate." More than three years later, Kean's remarks have received very little attention from the corporate media, and the public is largely unaware of them. The media blackout is not surprising, considering the fact that the United States government deemed 9/11 a lie too big to fail. To provide some perspective, the investigation for a presidential blowjob was $30 million, and half of that was allocated for an inside job.

Other members on the Commission's panel had similar sentiments as Kean and Hamilton. In A Washington Post article called "9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon," Dan Eggen wrote:
Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.

Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources. Staff members and some commissioners thought that e-mails and other evidence provided enough probable cause to believe that military and aviation officials violated the law by making false statements to Congress and to the commission, hoping to hide the bungled response to the hijackings, these sources said.

Commission member Tim Roemer told CNN:
"We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting," Roemer told CNN. "We were not sure of the intent, whether it was to deceive the commission or merely part of the fumbling bureaucracy."
Perhaps, the biggest reason why the 9/11 Commission's report lacks credibility is because members of the panel have directly said that they were steamrolled by the White House, and as a result, they were unable to find sufficient answers. Also, as Raw Story reported last May, the panel's conclusions were based on information that was produced in CIA prisoner torture sessions:
Much of the material cited in the 9/11 Commission’s findings was derived from terror war detainees during brutal CIA interrogations authorized by the Bush administration, according to a Wednesday report.
Everybody is aware that information that is attained through torture is highly suspect. And it doesn't help the matter that the CIA quickly destroyed its interrogations tapes without providing any access to the members on the 9/11 Commission panel, or any other oversight committee. In December 2007, journalist Robert Scheer raised troubling questions that will not go away, even with the heavy suppression of information regarding the matter by the government and media:
On the matter of the existence of the tapes, we know the CIA deliberately lied, not only to the 9/11 commission, but to Congress as well. Given that the Bush administration has for six years refused those prisoners any sort of public legal exposure, why should we believe what we've been told about what may turn out to be the most important transformative event in our nation's history? On the basis of what the CIA claimed the tortured prisoners said, President Bush launched a "Global War on Terrorism," (GWOT), an endless war that threatens to bankrupt our society both financially and morally.

The notification came in a letter dated January 6, 2004, addressed by Attorney General John Ashcroft, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and CIA Director George J. Tenet. The ACLU described it as a fax sent by David Addington, then-counsel to former vice president Dick Cheney.

In the message, the officials denied the bipartisan commission's request to question terrorist detainees, informing its two senior-most members that doing so would "cross" a "line" and obstruct the administration's ability to protect the nation.

Rather than protecting the nation, Bush administration officials sought to protect important information from the members of the Commission, and the American people. But the line that they drew has been crossed by many Americans from all political factions and professions, and it is now gone. As Washington's Blog has documented, senior intelligence officers, US congressmen, 9/11 commissioners, and other government officials have publicly voiced their doubt of the official 9/11 story, and many more have joined the call for a new independent investigation into the terror attacks.

There is no stopping the American people from discovering the true perpetrators of their national tragedy. I only hope that the press assists in their discovery.

A Message to the Media: Stand Up, Speak Up: Silence is Betrayal, Censorship is Cowardice.

News producers, anchors, executives, book publishers, editors, journalists, reporters, and television pundits, you have all lost direction. You don't know right from wrong, up from down, straight from crooked. You are blind to your own ignorance.

Highlight the important remarks by 9/11 Commission Chairman Thomas Kean on any platform you're given, and bring light to this once in a lifetime cover-up. Your legacy will be forever tainted if you fail to inform the people about what is currently at stake. As of now, you are part of what Amy Goodman has described as the "access of evil," because you are trading truth for access with high-level politicians and government officials.

Please educate yourself about the many inconsistencies, errors, and lies in the official 9/11 story, and watch this clip below of the collapse of WTC 7.

The truth is indeed shocking and spectacular. But it is worth searching for, and exposing. Many of you often praise the military and their sacrifice for the country, but it seems you have forgotten that you too have an obligation to the American people, and the country. If you want to make the Armed Forces proud, then perform your duty admirably, as they have done theirs, and you will receive the thanks of your countrymen, and all of humanity.

I'll end this appeal by directing you to two quotes by a man whose words helped built a great country, and has inspired many people for many generations to fight and write for liberty, and a quote by a man who in recent memory challenged all human beings to speak their minds in times of conflict, and help their country strive towards justice.

"The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure." - Thomas Jefferson

"Cherish... the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. Do not be too severe upon their errors, but reclaim them by enlightening them." - Thomas Jefferson

The truth of these words is beyond doubt, but the mission to which they call us is a most difficult one. Even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government's policy, especially in time of war. Nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one's own bosom and in the surrounding world. - Martin Luther King, Jr.
