9/11: Myth And The Murder of Modern Man

It may seem like that 9/11 is becoming an intellectual fetish for me, but my intense attention, indeed, my meditations on this mythic event, are not without legitimate reasons. I cannot stress how essential this event has become in the construction of our social and political world. But instead of targeting the incredible inconsistencies in the original story given to the populace, scholars in our universities have refused to test their analytic minds, and put to use their scientific capacities to help uncover this event, at least the great majority of them anyway. The scholars with any sort of political weight have been silent. Of course, there are the inspirational scholars for 9/11 truth, and architects and engineers for 9/11 truth, and the heroic Dr. Steven Jones, Richard Gage, Niels Harrit, David Ray Griffin, Peter Dale Scott, Michel Chossudovsky, as well as the other scientists, professors, and scholars, who have uncovered the scientific, architectural, and political fabrications in the original story, and whose work lay out a foundation for a new criminal investigation, but, and here I must insist, where are the cultural historians, literary scholars, philosophers, political scientists, psychologists, theologians, classicist professors, and the rest of academia? They are not in attendance, and their absence will not be forgotten.

By not providing a catalog of knowledge that can help us formulate new theories about our present history, academia has proven to be compromised to a high degree, and beholden to the corrupt myth makers and tricksters of our age. Maybe their denial of 9/11 truth is not as simple as not wanting to let go of their economic or social privilege, and I am more than willing to hear other explanations, but the burden of proof is on their side. As Rene Girard said in his great book The Scapegoat; "Too great an effort to hide something always reveals the deception." All the evidence has been shoved under the rug by the Bush administration, which has been transformed into a magic carpet and used to fly to the Middle East, with cruise missiles tied to the strings.

All we are asking is why the censorship? Why treat the truth as taboo? All we are asking is give truth a chance. All we are asking for is an explanation that is based in provable evidence, and scientific facts. Is that too much to ask?Are we intolerant for questioning our idols in government? Those who are quick to call us crazy are too lazy to do their own research. But why are they so scared to look? We are not holding up a mirror, pointing to scapegoats and demanding they be brought to justice. So why mock the living and intelligent souls? Can you blame us for following our noses because you have lost your sense of smell? Ortega Y Gasset said somewhere that doubt is science's nutty sister, if I remember correctly, and in this era she has been cast out of the family altogether. She has been turned into the Black Witch. And her supporters are looked on with disdain by covering eyes.

II.

The scapegoat of 9/11, Osama Bin Laden, has given the real criminals leeway to use collective murder for their own shady designs. And 9/11 was a case of collective murder. It has reached mythic proportions in the collective imagination, almost to the point of no return. The surrendering of our liberties, our common defense, and the case for war would not have been possible without that crucial event. 9/11 is the cover that is used to cover all the black dust stuffed away in America's cupboards. CIA director, Leon Panetta, has reverted to the hysteria surrounding 9/11 to explain the Obama's administration dismissal of the attacks on the constitution by the previous administration. In an Op-ed that appeared in the Washington Post on August 2, 2009, Panetta writes:
The time has come for both Democrats and Republicans to take a deep breath and recognize the reality of what happened after Sept. 11, 2001. The question is not the sincerity or the patriotism of those who were dealing with the aftermath of Sept. 11. The country was frightened, and political leaders were trying to respond as best they could. Judgments were made. Some of them were wrong. But that should not taint those public servants who did their duty pursuant to the legal guidance provided. The last election made clear that the public wanted to move in a new direction.
By new direction, Panetta is probably referring to the color line, but Americans voted for Obama because he made promises to end wiretapping of ordinary Americans, bring home the troops, and reform the health care system, in addition to him bearing a different pigmentation than his rivalries. And by 'deep breath,' Panetta means suck in all the little guts you still have left, play make-believe, and follow the makeshift reality of 9/11. Only a scared criminal would come to such rash rationalizations, but this is nothing new, deception has always been the doctrine of the devil's diplomats.

I doubt Leon Panetta isn't aware of the real repercussions of 9/11 truth for the entire machinery of the American government. He is the face of a secretive and criminal institution that could go down in flames, if enough people come to the right side of history in time. It is highly unlikely that the real story of 9/11 will be made public by the government willingly. What is required is bringing high level officials of the Bush administration, most importantly Dick Cheney, and key insiders of the US establishment, those who have haunting information, to a court of law, where the complicit will be parted from the truly guilty, and justice can be served. When such a time arises, and it will, prudence and moderation rather than persecution and fanaticism is the way to go. I know it will take nothing short of a miracle to make that happen, but miracles are all we have left.
